The house belonged to my ancestor Countess Cornelia Rossi, a woman of legendary beauty, a cultured and fascinating aristocrat, a connoisseur of many languages who turned the palace into one of the most famous cultural salons in Europe, called the 'Garden of the Hesperides' by its frequent visitors. Among the illustrious guests of the coterie was Ugo Foscolo, who loved the woman, but was not reciprocated, and was inspired by her for the "priestess of eloquence", one of the three graces of the eponymous poem

Access for guests is by self check-in, from 3 p.m. via telephone with wi-fi internet connection, (downloading the Vikey application), while check-out is by 10 a.m.
